The Turtle Beach Recon is a game controller specifically designed for Xbox consoles. It supports both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and offers features that are not found on the first-party offerings. As an audio company, Turtle Beach offers easy access to audio controls via the controller, including equalizer presets, game and chat volume mixer, microphone monitoring, and more. The company has also added its proprietary Superhuman Hearing feature too, which allows the players to hear enemies easier, which might get an advantage in the game.
The controller comes with textured triggers and bumpers that offer grip even when the action heats up, an accurate 8-way D-pad, and thumbsticks with smooth movement. There are also two mappable quick-action buttons, which can be configured by the player to preferred functions and saved to four profiles. One of the mappable buttons, Pro-Aim, adjusts the sensitivity of the thumbstick for better long-range accuracy in games.
