Uga had a private ceremony attended by 17 total people, including his grandson Que — who inherited the title of Uga X on Nov. 21 — Georgia President Jere Morehead and Greg McGarity, the school’s athletics director.

From 2009-12, Uga compiled a 44-19 record prowling the Bulldogs sidelines. He joined his eight predecessors in a mausoleum in the southwest corner of Sanford Stadium.
