With such a large region available to explore, it’s no wonder that players come across different glitches on their adventures. A recent post on the official Genshin Impact subreddit has shown a new one featuring a brand-new Genshin Impact character and three Hilichurls, with the clip being incredibly memorable and entertaining.

Genshin Impact glitches usually feature playable characters getting caught in random floating animations. A Reddit user named GealDaydreamer has shared a hilarious bit of gameplay footage showing a couple of Hilichurls that keep spinning without any control. This bug occurred in the Mondstadt region, north of the Cryo Regisvine. While two of the Hilichurls seem to spin “regularly”, the one up front went overboard, ensuring that the player’s video is worth a watch.
The player tried to block this glitch with his character model, but without much success. This footage was taken in recent times considering that it features one of the new characters, the head of Kamisato clan, Ayato. He has arrived in the current Genshin Impact Version 2.6 on a double banner re-run alongside the Anemo Archon Venti. Similar to his sister, Kamisato Ayaka, Ayato uses a sword as his main weapon, even though multiple NPCs confirmed that he is a skilled polearm fighter as well.
Unlike Ayaka, he uses the Hydro element with a far more complex fighting system. Players that managed to acquire Ayato should try to get their hands on his signature weapon named Haran Geppaku Futsu, which is featured on the ongoing weapon banner. The current double banner has arrived on March 30, so players have around nine more days to get the limited characters.
Ayato is considered a very solid DPS character, and while he is probably not on par with the strongest units like Ganyu, he is still a great fit for most team compositions. His biggest strength lies in infusing his attacks with Hydro, meaning that he can easily trigger vaporize, which is one of the best elemental reactions in Genshin Impact. He can also be placed in the sub-DPS role considering that his Elemental Burst deals damage over time with a low cooldown. In the case of this video, though, the Genshin Impact fan was left staring at some bugged Hilichurls instead of wielding Ayato’s abilities.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
