Genshin Impact glitches are not a rare occurrence considering the vast explorable area that the world of Teyvat offers. In fact, a recent post on the official Genshin Impact subreddit reveals a very strange screenshot featuring one of the fan-favorite characters.

Reddit user khershey24 has shared an interesting experience while fighting the Genshin Impact weekly boss Tartaglia, also known as Childe. The screenshot displays the Fatui Harbinger floating around the Golden House. Even though this scene seems very unnatural, multiple fans in the comment section reveal that it’s actually a common bug. Apparently looking up while Childe is in his third phase will often display his second form just floating above the battlefield.
Many fans consider this bug quite symbolic as it represents Childe’s soul leaving his body, despite him not being dead even after successfully finishing this domain. It should be noted that Childe’s death was heavily rumored in update 2.2 after miHoYo unexpectedly announced his second banner re-run, however, those rumors were quickly debunked once the update officially arrived. He is a very important part of the main Genshin Impact story and will probably be the character that introduces the Traveler to a new major nation named Snezhnaya.
Although he’s amongst the oldest limited five-star characters in the game, Childe is still one of the best DPS choices in Genshin Impact for certain team compositions. He offers a unique playstyle with a strong focus on properly managing his skill cooldowns. Tartaglia fights with a grand mix of Hydro-infused melee and ranged attacks. His main drawback is that he requires a good supporting cast to make up for his downtime in his ranged stance. He has no way to gather mobs together on his own, so players should look for supporting characters with good crowd control abilities.
If it wasn’t for the recently released Genshin Impact Version 2.5, Childe would still be the only playable character in the game to have his own boss domain. The ongoing Genshin Impact update has added another weekly boss, and it’s a very familiar face. After tons of fan requests, Inazuma’s main antagonist, Raiden Shogun, has finally been added to the game as a weekly boss. The official 2.5 livestream has also confirmed that she will be a part of the Genshin Impact double banner alongside Sangonomiya Kokomi.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
