The game’s most famous NPC is probably the Traveler’s most loyal companion – Paimon. A new post on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit shows an interesting glitch that includes the main character and its loyal companion – Paimon.

Reddit user JRJayden0201 has posted an interesting video showing one of the main characters, Lumine, surrounded by two Paimons during one of the game’s first quests. This popular NPC serves as the face of Genshin Impact, and she appears on the screen whenever players enter the game’s menu. In the video, one Paimon leads Lumine to one of the Statues of The Seven while the second one floats above Lumine’s shoulder. This is a very rare glitch as none of the comments on the thread claim that they’ve experienced anything similar, which is unusual for bugs in Genshin Impact.
Fans loved the unique interaction as the post gathered almost 3k upvotes. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that they would actually pay good money to have Paimon following them around the world. Some comments have stated that they envy the player in the video who probably experiences the introduction to the beautiful world of Teyvat for the first time. At the start of the Genshin Impact journey, players choose between two main characters – Aether and Lumine.
Once players choose their Traveler, the main goal of the game becomes to find their long-lost sibling. While the main character is usually perceived as one of the weakest units in the playable roster, he has the unique ability to change between multiple elements. So far, the Traveler can be equipped with three different elements, Anemo, Geo, and Electro, one for each of the main regions in the Genshin Impact.
Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that Aether and Lumine might be able to control an additional element in the foreseeable future. With multiple rumors hinting that the arrival of a new major region named Sumeru is just around the corner, it’s expected that the Traveler will learn new elemental powers. The game’s official story has already confirmed that Sumeru’s representative element is Dendro which means that the main character will probably be able to control this brand-new element.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
