She currently holds the all-time record for most sales for a single regular Limited Character Banner. Nahida was released in the previous Genshin Impact update 3.1 which means that players who want to add her to their playable roster will have to wait for a couple of months for her first re-run.

Reddit user andykey has shared a video revealing an adorable detail about Nahida’s animations that many players probably missed. The video shows that whenever Nahida ends her sprinting animation and turns around, she looks surprised. Many fans claim that they did not notice this detail despite having Nahida on their roster for over a month. Even though a lot of players did not like Nahida’s overall design when HoYoverse officially revealed her appearance, a well-designed character development arc has turned her into one of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact.

Nahida broke multiple Genshin Impact revenue records, which does not come as a surprise considering that she is the first five-star support that uses the new Dendro element. Update 3.0 introduced the new Dendro element to the game which also brought tons of new elemental reactions. Players had to rely on Collei and the Dendro Traveler for most of their Dendro-related elemental reactions in the first two Sumeru updates. Nahida has managed to replace both of these characters thanks to a stacked kit that allows constant Dendro application on the field.

Many players consider her to be the strongest out of the four currently playable Genshin Impact Archons. However, it should be noted that, unlike her Archon colleagues, Nahida is very dependent on team members since her whole kit revolves around triggering elemental reactions which makes her the go-to support for most compositions that need a strong Dendro user.

According to recent rumors, Nahida will apparently also have great synergy with another five-star Dendro character named Alhaitham who is scheduled for the next Genshin Impact update. Credible leakers have revealed that he will be the second Dendro DPS unit after Tighnari who is now part of the Standard Banner. Version 3.4 will also introduce a new four-star Dendro user named Yaoyao who has been rumored for over two years.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
