The Spiral Abyss is divided into twelve different floors, each of which has a unique enemy lineup that resets twice a month. Players have to adapt their Genshin Impact team compositions in order to be more efficient against opponents that have various types of damage resistances.

Reddit user LvlUrArti has shared an image revealing the most popular team comps used in Floor 12 of the Spiral Abyss. This floor has two halves, each containing a different set of enemies, and it allows players to change their party after the first half is completed. The most popular party in the first half is the new Bloom team composition which revolves around triggering Bloom, one of the recently added elemental reactions. This team comp consists of two Dendro characters: Traveler and Collei, and two Hydro users: Nilou and Kokomi. Nilou is probably the most important member of the team since her whole kit revolves around this elemental reaction.
One of her passive talents, Court of Dancing Petals, increases the Elemental Mastery of the whole party if at least one Dendro and one Hydro characters are present. This passive will also turn the Dendro cores that are dropped by triggering Bloom into Bountiful Cores which have a much stronger effect. Even though Nilou is a crucial part of this team, Kokomi is actually the character that spends most of the time on the field due to her Hydro application.
The most popular team composition for the second half of Floor 12 consists of one five-star character, Raiden Shogun, and three four-star units, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Xiangling. This type of team composition is also known in the community as the “Raiden National Team”. Even though Raiden Shogun is better known for her supportive capabilities, in this type of team comp she serves as the main DPS character.
Xingqiu, Bennett, and Xiangling are widely considered the three strongest four-star characters in the game. Bennett has the ability to provide one of the strongest heals and damage buffs thanks to his elemental burst, Fantastic Voyage. Xiangling is probably the best off-field Pyro applicator in the game with her Pyronado that stays on the field even when she gets swapped out. The greatest strength of this team composition is probably the fact that it’s very free-to-play friendly thanks to the three four-star characters.
