The current Limited Character Banner that features Cyno and Venti is coming to an end which means that it’s time for a new Genshin Impact lineup to arrive. Overall players don’t seem too happy about the four-star lineup, even though it includes one of the strongest four-stars in the game.

The live stream event for Genshin Impact version 3.1 has revealed that two five-star characters, Albedo and Nilou, will be featured on the second banner cycle of the update. When it comes to their release date, the banner is expected to arrive on October 14. The game’s official Twitter account has now confirmed that Albedo and Nilou will be joined by the following four-star characters:
Barbara - four-star Hydro catalyst user Xiangling - four-star Pyro polerm user Beidou - four-star Electro claymore user.
At the moment, Xiangling is the second most used four-star character in the current Spiral Abyss thanks to her ability to apply Pyro off-field. However, the fact that she was a part of the game since the beginning allowed the majority of the player base to level all of her constellation levels which means that there is no point of acquiring additional copies. Beidou is one of the most popular characters in the Genshin Impact storyline, and she is the captain of the famous crew named The Crux.
Players often use Beidou just for her specific counter-attack abilities thanks to her Tidecaller. The third four-star character, Barbara, is a decent choice for players that need a healer in their team composition. At the moment, an interesting bug makes Barbara one of the best supports in the game as she is able to trigger Bloom infinitely with the Hydro ring her elemental skill provides.
The only new addition on both of these banners is the five-star Hydro character Nilou who already made some appearances in the official story. Nilou is one of the most recognizable faces in the new Sumeru region thanks to her role in the famous Zubayr Theater. When it comes to her power on the battlefield, Nilou’s playstyle will revolve around triggering one of the new Dendro elemental reactions named Bloom. Combining Hydro and Dendro causes Bloom which will drop small Dendro Cores that explode after a short period of time.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
