A couple of days ago, developer HoYoverse confirmed that Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche, will be a part of the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.3. There is still no official information about his exact release date, but recent leaks have been hinting that Wanderer will appear on the first banner of the update which should arrive in the first half of December.

A new post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that Wanderer received a couple of buffs to his constellation effects. According to the leak, the adjusted effect of his C1 level will cause the wind arrows fired by Gales of Reverie to deal 25% instead of 15% of his ATK as damage. The new C2 constellation effect will increase the maximum damage of Wanderer’s elemental burst by 200% which is a significant buff considering that the previous effect granted a 150% bonus. These buffs could affect the character’s damage potential, especially considering that Wanderer is rumored to be a new DPS character.

Players seem very satisfied with the fact that the buffs affected the first two constellations which are much easier to acquire compared to C5 or C6. Even though the current update 3.2 introduced one of the most anticipated characters in the game, the new Dendro Archon Nahida, fans seem to be just as excited about Wanderer’s arrival, especially considering that he was part of the game since version 1.1.

Wanderer is expected to be one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact due to his importance to the overall storyline. He plays a major role in the ongoing update in which players have to fight him. However, it seems as though that Wanderer is ready to join the good side which will allow him to become a playable character who will most likely get his own story quest in the future.

Wanderer will not be the only roster addition to arrive in Genshin Impact update 3.3 as HoYoverse confirmed another Anemo user named Faruzan who has been mentioned by a couple of Sumeru characters. According to credible leaks, she will be a new four-star bow user with decent supportive and sub-DPS capabilities.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
