While fans seem excited about Cyno, Nilou and Candace, a big part of the Genshin Impact community will save their Primogems for one particular character who has been rumored to arrive in the upcoming updates. Multiple leaks have revealed that Scaramouche will apparently go through some sizable changes before he officially joins the playable roster.

Since he appeared in a couple of quests, Scaramouche quickly became one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. At the moment he serves as one of the game’s main villains as he is a member of the infamous group known as the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. A Genshin Impact leaker named Ziao has revealed more information about Scaramouche’s most recent adjustments. According to the leaker, Scaramouche covers the left side of his chest with a new Anemo Vision, and he wears an open-chest kimono.

When it comes to his colors, he will apparently have a deep blue color scheme which is different from his current black and red palette. A post on the ScaramoucheMains subreddit shows interesting fan art based on the current leaks about Scaramouche. It should be noted that HoYoverse is yet to confirm these changes, but fans claim that the overall design could be similar to the one presented in the fan-art. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that they actually prefer the new design, especially considering that HoYoverse decided to equip him with a new Anemo Vision.

When it comes to his release date, numerous leakers have been hinting that Scaramouche will arrive in Genshin Impact Version 3.3 which, according to HoYoverse usual update schedule, should arrive around December 7. He was the only Harbinger that wasn’t part of Genshin Impact’s recent teaser named “A Winter Night’s Lazzo” which led many players to believe that he could appear in the upcoming quests.

Recent rumors have been hinting that before he joins the playable roster, Scaramouche will first appear as a weekly boss as one of his boss phase models has apparently leaked a couple of weeks ago. This would not come as a surprise considering that two of Genshin Impact’s characters, Raiden Shogun and Childe, both have their own boss domains and are part of the playable roster.

Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development.
