While there is still no official Genshin Impact information on her specific release date, according to multiple rumors she is expected to arrive on the first banner alongside the four-star character Layla. These buffs led many players to believe that Nahida’s damage numbers could be slightly underwhelming, and they will think twice before spending their Primogems on her banner.

According to the leak, Nahida has received a buff to a big part of her elemental burst named Illusory Heart. This burst will spawn a Shrine of Maya field which reacts differently when exposed to Pyro, Electro, or Hydro, and all of these bonus reactions have been significantly buffed. The second leak confirms that one of her passive talents named Compassion Illuminated, which is tied with her elemental burst, has also been buffed. The Elemental Mastery bonus received from this passive has been increased from 20% to 25% of the party member with the highest EM.
The maximum amount of Elemental Mastery received by this effect has also been increased from 200 to 250 which makes. This is another proof that Elemental Mastery is slowly becoming one of the main stats in Genshin Impact after the Sumeru expansion. The third change is related to her elemental skill, All Schemes to Know, which has a press and a hold variation that have different effects but both of them apply the Seed of Skandha aura on enemies which then become connected.
Triggering a Genshin Impact elemental reaction on targets that have the Seed of Skandha aura will activate the Tri-Karma Purification effect which deals Dendro damage to all connected enemies. The buff will increase the Seed of Skandha duration from 20 to 25 seconds, and also the Tri-Karma Purification trigger interval from 1.9 to 2.5 seconds.
As a new Archon, Nahida is expected to be one of the strongest characters in the Genshin Impact and probably the best Dendro user in the game. At the moment, players have to rely on characters who have a lower four-star rarity like Collei and Traveler for their Dendro application on the field which means that Nahida will probably become to go-to choice for most team compositions that revolve on the new element.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
