Even though the new characters are yet to officially join the playable roster, new leaks have revealed more information about a new character who has already been mentioned in the game’s official story. Previous Genshin Impact rumors have been hinting at a new character named Kaveh who could join the playable roster in the foreseeable future.

Popular leakers like GenshinBLANK and Ubatcha1 have revealed that the upcoming updates will introduce a new playable character named Kaveh who is the architect of the famous Palace of Alcarzarzaray, one of the most iconic places in the new Sumeru region located in a subarea in the Lokapala Jungle. A new leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subReddit apparently reveals the Kaveh’s appearance. Even though this is an unconfirmed fan-art, the same artist has already accurately portrayed Ayato’s appearances months before his official reveal.
Another credible Genshin Impact leaker named SaveYourPrimos claims that the artwork is unbelievably accurate which is odd considering that there are still no descriptions of the Kaveh’s appearance. When it comes to his personality, the same leaker revealed that he has a very hot temper, and he does stage magic as a hobby. Kaveh is also known for being the roommate of a popular Genshin Impact named Alhaitham who has already made an appearance in Sumeru’s official story.
Multiple replies in the comment section claim that they would like to see a sitcom-like story arc between Alhaitham and Kaveh. While Alhaitham always acts very rationally, Kaveh’s actions are always led by the emotions of artistic spirit. Both Kaveh and Alhaitham are expected to be using a Dendro Vision. When it comes to Kaveh’s release date, there is still no official information nor credible leaks which usually means that he won’t be a part of the upcoming Genshin Impact updates.
Developer HoYoverse has already revealed the three new Genshin Impact characters that will arrive in the next update: Cyno, Nilou, and Candace. Two popular characters, Nahida and Scaramouche, are rumored to arrive in updates 3.2 and 3.3 which means that Kaveh probably won’t join the playable roster before update 3.4.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
